1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
2 tablespoons butter
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Creamy Sauce:
4 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
1/4 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
For Assembly:
6 large flour tortillas
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
Prepare Chicken: Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper.
Cook Chicken: Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken pieces and cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and cooked through.
Add Seasonings: Add minced garlic, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Stir and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Create Sauce: Lower heat to medium-low. Add softened cream cheese and sour cream. Stir until cream cheese melts completely and blends smoothly, about 2-3 minutes.
Melt Cheese: Sprinkle shredded cheese over the mixture. Stir until melted and smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning.
Warm Tortillas: Heat tortillas in a dry skillet for 10-15 seconds per side, or microwave wrapped in a damp paper towel for 20 seconds.
Assemble: Place about 1/2 cup filling down the center of each warm tortilla. Fold in sides, then roll from bottom to top.
Optional Crisping: Place wraps seam-side down in a skillet over medium heat. Cook 2 minutes per side until golden.
