2 cans (8 oz each) crescent roll dough
16 oz cream cheese, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 whole egg
1 egg white (for brushing)
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 tablespoons milk
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, vanilla, and whole egg until smooth.
Unroll crescent dough and separate into 8 rectangles by pressing perforations.
Spoon about 2 tablespoons of filling onto the center of each rectangle and spread slightly.
Fold corners towards the center, overlapping slightly, and press gently to seal.
Brush dough edges with egg white for shine.
Bake for 15 minutes or until golden and puffed.
Whisk powdered sugar and milk to make glaze. Drizzle over warm Danishes.
Cool slightly and serve.
