Garlic Butter Bacon Alfredo Pizza Twist

For the Pizza:

  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup alfredo sauce
  • 68 strips bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

For the Garlic Butter:

 

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Heat oven to 450°F. Place pizza stone in oven if using.
  • Cook Bacon: Cook bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels and chop into pieces.
  • Make Garlic Butter: Melt butter in small pan. Add garlic and cook 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in parsley.
  • Prepare Dough: Roll pizza dough into 12-14 inch circle on floured surface. Transfer to baking sheet.
  • Add Toppings: Brush half the garlic butter on dough. Spread alfredo sauce evenly. Top with bacon and mozzarella.
  • Bake: Bake 12-15 minutes until crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.

 

  • Finish: Brush remaining garlic butter over pizza. Cool 2-3 minutes before slicing.
