Easy Cheesy Garlic Chicken Wraps

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced or shredded
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 large flour tortillas

 

  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  • Cook Garlic: Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Make Cheese Sauce: Add cream cheese to the skillet and stir until melted and smooth. Mix in sour cream, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Combine Filling: Add cooked chicken, mozzarella, and cheddar cheese to the skillet. Stir gently until all cheese melts and the mixture becomes thick and creamy. Remove from heat.
  • Warm Tortillas: Heat tortillas in the microwave for 10-15 seconds or warm in a dry pan until soft and pliable.
  • Fill and Roll: Place each tortilla on a flat surface. Spoon about 1/2 cup of the chicken mixture into the center. Fold in the sides, then roll from bottom to top to form a tight wrap.
  • Optional Toasting: Heat a clean skillet over medium heat with a small amount of butter. Place wraps seam-side down and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden and crispy.

 

  • Serve: Slice each wrap in half diagonally. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and serve immediately.
