  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 green onions, sliced

 

  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 375°F.
  • Season Chicken: Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
  • Mix Sauce: In a small bowl, combine BBQ sauce, honey, garlic powder, and paprika. Stir until well mixed.
  • Sear Chicken: Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Add Sauce: Pour the honey BBQ sauce over the chicken. Use a spoon to coat each piece completely.
  • Bake: Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 12-15 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F internal temperature.

 

  • Rest and Garnish: Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Top with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
